SO much to learn from these pages: “Melchizedek the Priest” 7:1-10, How “Jesus Like Melchizedek” 7:11-28.
But, Before this/these-
Hebrews “The Certainty of God’s Promise” 6:13-20 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in order of Melchizedek.
<><>< ‘…we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…” moored to God Himself. We may Holdfast to this Truth and remember too, in this truth; is ETERNITY- forever AND Heb 7:16 one who has become … on the basis of the power of an indestructible life-‘ Is… forever… defined. All the glory, revelation, sovereignty of whom we are moored to… God HIMSELF Forever- Through Jesus Christ. This days teachings couples with a flash of a thought: Just like reading or hearing counsel doesn’t change us- it is our action taken from what was read/learned that changes us. Just like therefore reading The Bible itself does not change us- it is our action taken from what was read/learned that changes us. As in: “Do NOT conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2a ‘Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His GOOD pleasing and perfect will. (Rom. 12:2b) That good ole saying- God does not change to fit our standard, we change to fit His. So the change is made complete for certain in the certainty of Gods Promise. ‘We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure – moored to God Himself ----- may we be transformed by the renewing of our mind- Anchored in the certainty and eternity and hope of God- In Jesus.

New Day brought Romans 8:28 And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to His purpose. …31 ’What then, shall we say in response to this’? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Bible bookmarked at Romans 8:23- 9:17
8:24 For in this hope we are saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has.
<><
And now Chapter 9:8 reminds that it is the children of the promise that are Gods offspring… noting our adoption. Our inheritance in Christ.

We are saved by faith- not hope; BUT hope accompanies salvation. As hope sustains the believer, so the Holy Spirit intercedes. The Holy Spirits relationship with God is so close it need not be audible. God knows His every thought. – Full circled by Christ. He in us, we in Him- We inherit this Trinity- for as Christ and the Father are one- we are one. We in Him- in Him IS the Holy Spirit interceding.
For God’s Good purpose for those that love Him.
Yes!
IF God is for – NONE, nothing can make it NOT. We are children of the promise – by faith – we may stand humbly and boldly in this hope. Praise be to GOD… and Press on… In Jesus’ name - AMEN
