...absolute?

Wisdom …Truth...
17 September 2012, 225th Birthday of the United States Constitution…
The Constitution of the United States of America stands as a foundational key to the UNITED by which we stand.
By its Wisdom, Truth…
Pondered this, as it just so happens, left off last study in Proverbs, often nicknamed the book of wisdom.
16:17 When a mans ways are pleasing to the Lord, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
15:25 The Lord tears down the proud mans house, but He keeps the widows boundaries intact.
Ahhhhh but all by GRACE… it is done.
…31 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise.
32 He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.
33 The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom and humility comes before honor.
16:1 To man belongs the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue.
2 All a mans ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord.
3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
4a The Lord works out everything for His own ends –

A note: stating that God is Sovereign in every life and in all of history
…Truth
The other day the subject of Truth arose in simply a sharing of personal thoughts in a conversation between a friend and I. Their reply came something like; ‘there is not truth.’ No matter how late the hour, it caused me pause, awakened my spirit with a sobering pull on it that could not deny, bringing my reply, ‘Oh, but I don’t believe that, there is absolute truth, whether we choose to believe in it or not, it remains the truth.’ Friends could only reply to each other, we see this quite differently don’t we?
Sometimes I wonder why I can never remember to reply to the comment that ‘there is no absolute truth’ with the simple question;
“Are you absolutely sure about that?
Thinking that I am a carefree easy going soul – with a true persona of an artist in how live and approach life –
I see and realized how deep this passion is quite frankly my identity.  Taking that a step further – whom I perceive as the Way, The Truth and The Life – cannot deny being Jesus Christ. Even though I live and work and studied in a very secular environment, this is who I remain.  And truly care deeply for all equally, even those that don’t believe as I do.  Isn’t that the way it is suppose to be? I digress…
In this season of politically correct; guess this means that I fail miserably at that test too.
Fact remains in ‘the Truth will set you free’ My reply to that scriptural truth if you recite only this fractional part of its context is; ‘and only the free shall see’ or even ‘and only the free shall see it.’
That comment quite frankly leaves the unbeliever of it – angry.
SO… since THAT is not ever the desire or goal --- how is this debate, debated… truthfully, sincerely?
Another FACT comes into play, there can be no union with the dark and light. NONE.
Is fact, not truth?
Yes- and shall we proclaim that our three and a half pounds of brain/gray matter, has it all figured out?  Of course not!  Does that mean we must not believe in Truth as a reality? Of course not!
Ahhh faith – how is this all going to be defined…? NOT by my 3.5lbs assuredly.
Faith may be a walk without sight but absolute.
There is that ‘absolute’ again.
For an easy going Artist type, Facts still remains – and yes do believe in absolutes too.  How’s this for a huge question to answer all these ponderings – ‘perhaps can believe in absolute truth and in absolute faith because have no fear to do so, or of it?’
Flip side of this, Fear of the Lord though means reverence of Sovereignty, Majesty.
So, there is no fear as in afraid or insecure here? Instead it is in a complete sound mind, and secure in thought. Not haughtily, simply.
This all goes back to the light and dark truth too…
Good news is this, we have been blessed with the God breathed to breathe in and to breathe out. Wisdom, it is in the Word.  The Word made flesh in spirit and life is how it lives and is relevant to every breath we take in our today’s.  Breathe it in to breathe it out… it is a breath of life defined in the undefined that is indeed an absolute.
Prvb. 16:1 To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue.  Therefore this notes here that God gives the ability to articulate and accomplish these plans. Our gifts and talents given, and diligently trained or raised up to be all that they can be.
If GOD is for us, NONE can come against us.  We live though in a fallen world.  In the same manor there is not union between dark and light… one does not eliminate the other from being real, truth, or a fact;
they are just different… and never can they unite.
16:2 All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord.
…4 The Lord works out everything for His own ends – even the wicked for a day of disaster.
5 The Lord detest the proud of heart, be sure of this: they will not go unpunished.
6 Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the Lord a man avoids evil.
…18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
…20 Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trust in the Lord.
As pause here in Proverbs 15:25 through all of 16: ---literally every verse recites life… and wisdom in it.
15:31 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke will be at home among the wise.
In that last simple yet profound truth lies this little detail – without getting something wrong, opportunity to learn better cannot  or does not come –
To learn how to see the difference is basically where this Monday pondering lies… absolute in the undefined of the fact that TRUTH is, oh how it is indeed… an Absolute.
And it will set you free if you choose to abide in it and hold to its teachings.  Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life
Way
Word
Truth
The Word made flesh – Christ
Life
Living Word
God sent Godspeed
Breathe in breathe out
No fear – free to live Truth.
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give to us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2Cor 4:6 life verse)

ARE...

ARE…
“Blessed are…” Father, thank YOU that we are the ‘Blessed are…” as in the Beatitudes… as You teach, love, counsel us through life’s interceding’s in them, step by step.
Intercedings, a word? A Step, yes.
In the steps,  a no ‘greater understanding’ perhaps yet met,
the good news in that… because YOU are not done with us yet.

“Blessed are…” remains; and that the key, for all eternity.

Heart cried, cared, dared to believe for many dear to heart yesterday.  None family, all a part though.  Distance away varied as much as the connection to each.  Father, the connection yesterday though saw above all else
in that they each ARE a part and
ARE in the
“Blessed ARE…”

May their hearts hear Your heart and where the next step lies, with a peace beyond understanding that You are there by their side with them.

Be the eyes of their heart Godspeed indeed…
God sent blankets of love, grace and mercy the embrace that meets each face.

Especially at that time they cry ‘WHY?,’
God.

Even where Your name God isn’t there.
They are in the ‘blessed are…’ especially there… and it is the new beginning, or fresh start, or next step.
 “Why”
answered with “God?”
“is that You?”
“Are You there?” “Do You care?” “Do You see?”
“Why?”
Cried to a degree, that only You can answer God, oh may it be Godspeed.
Blessed means more than happy.  Happiness is an emotion often dependant on other circumstances.  Blessed here, refers to the ultimate well being and distinctive spiritual joy of those who all share in the salvation of the kingdom of God.
Even when
 ‘why?’
leaves the heart
                        Silent and numb…

Father God, n Jesus’ name may Your ‘Blessed are…” come to each,
Wherever
And
However they are.
Simply may they see
JOY
Above all else
God sent Godspeed as only YOU can enable it to be seen… for ALL eternity
In Jesus’ name, enabled to overcome ALL things- Amen
