In A Blink Of An Eye...


Several bookmarks in Romans 4:24-6:6, 7:14-8:24...
Ended up reading much of Romans this a.m.
"Against all hope in hope Abraham believed"
"And hope does NOT disappoint us because God poured out His LOVE into our hearts by the Holy Spirit whom He has given"(5:5)
We are not only saved we are reconciled(5:10) and continually sanctified (6:19)
Living Word of God, God breathed to each of our hearts, our spirits, our souls, our minds and truly is our strength, answer, counsel for any and ALL faced in the blessing of each day given.

To simply designate even a blink of an eye time to the study, reading, hearing of God's Word will bring into your today all the fullness of the Deity found in the face of Christ.

God by the way can do more with a blink of an eye of time than we can do in a life time. 

Believe, and in faith seek and the hope that does not disappoint will in turn be God's reply.

No greater love speaks love and absolute Truth.  Therefore no greater place to be and /or receive Counsel, Godspeed.  Yes, be still and know that He is God.



Today was a different view, went to visit the home of two of my three children... for the graduation of one of them.  He surprised us all and was his class Valedictorian! Definitely an UP day! Life's perspective no matter the ups and downs in it... In His Light... Before The Dawn, is where His light always shines the brightest and illuminates the day.  Am always amazed... even when only allot a blink of an eye time...  His light always enters in and illuminates.  Much to be thankful for, Godspeed indeed.

Civics?

Disclaimer: an Art major, NON theologian, NON academic and Non Civics major... simply sharing. Hold NOTHING against m'whah and read at will.

Romans 13: 1-8 link to full passage.
As read Romans 13:1-7 ; it is particularly poignant in this political season here in America. All sides of the peoples in the streets we see these days. Also as all the upheavals in the middle East. My goodness. Simply take pause with no opinion... just watching.
YET, The "Living" Word as perceived by one that has no theological or historical training its obvious how the 'living' references are relevant to our today's too.

when civil rulers overstep their proper function, the Christian is to obey God rather than man (Acts4:19, 5:29)
Rulers exist for the benefit of society - to protect the general public by maintaining good order.  The sword - symbolizes Roman authority here. Their (vv4) Biblical principle of using force for the maintenance of good order. Repeat a historical symbol.

OK, the bottom line:
We NEVER have 'the right' to do that which is wrong.  NONE of us do, not the people, the leaders, the governing authorities.

It is proper God ordained order for there to be consiquences for wrong actions in society.

We are ALL called to live responsibly.

Including our civic duties, paying justified fair taxes (vv6). v7 sums much up.  Interestingly enough - Civis lesson came from the Bible this morn.
Romans 13:7 Give everyone what you owe him, IF you owe taxes, pay taxes, if revenue, then revenue, if respect, then respect, if honor, then honor.
v8 Tells us the ONE DEBT NEVER PAID OFF: LOVE
13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. (continue on to verse 14 Rom 13:8-14 )

We cannot take this verse out of context though, or any verse in the Bible for that matter.  Present action, circumstances, questions always to God in prayer; yes, TEST the spirits.  The proceeding of verse 8 passage is 13:1-7 - SUBMIT leads the way.  First to God in trusting and obeying. Once there, all else falls into proper order with a little better perspective indeed.
Praise be to God for the continuing debt outstanding for us ALL to pay every day - LOVE.
Yes, the three remain: faith, hope and love.  The greatest of these is love.  In Jesus' Holy precious name we are called to live responsibbly and to love...
ALL
is but a part of reflecting Christ Jesus in your heart.

Responsible - ALSO forgiven... AND called to keep on living out loud Your calls on and to my heart in faith knowing YOU will work them ALL out.  May Your Spirit Counsel my spirit with Your ways into my ways.  That Your wisdom and discerment please may be mine.

ROOTED

CAST- was yesterday’s theme, HOME- was the days before that.
Today’s?  ROOTED – (ROOT)
Eph. 3:17… being rooted and established in love.
Thesaurus: grounded, based, fixed.
Dictionary: only speaks to (root)
Definition 1. Caught my eye: The part of the plant that grows downward into the soil.  Ahh but 2. The foundation of anything. 3. A source, origin, or cause. 4. (math) x’s itself ____x’s =’s____ [in an artist’s eye :0)] 5. (more math) a quantity that, when substituted for the unknown quantity in an equation, satisfies the equation [WOW] 6. The part of the word that conveys its essential meaning.  And Last but not least 7. (pl) a person’s ethnic and cultural origins.

Fascinatingly DEEP word. (pun intended!)

In studying The Word, words sometimes come into play as a part also –as a need to understand context, also the root, both meaning and origin.  Oh to be a scholar that understands the Greek and the Latin too.  The Genius of minds like Leonardo… that never satisfied with mere appearances or the surface… always seeking the root… cause, and effects.

Here, my study on the mere elementary level of words, and from this quiet-time “In His Light… Before The Dawn” all done in the perspective of a “Journal- on this journey of God’s Truths” as have it entered on the title page of each new journal.  Embarrassed to say this is the 110th.  Obviously why God made me an Artist, and gave me this other artful outlet of journaling too.  Heaven forbid that a poor poor soul be stuck with having to listen to ALL these ponderings. Instead its released here, to read at will.  Someday the ART of edit may enter this life too.  Alas, Imagine that – i – digress…

ROOTED- Biblical- Eph. 3:17; its context is better formed in 16-21.  Now isn’t that convenient that when studying The Word, combined with a word: rooted – that would actually be led to a prayer. !?!?!?  AND a prayer that has many a time encouraged and lifted me up from this chair when prayed.  This prayer has never stopped there though; many more times like ROOT #5. definition, many an unknown name inserted… and know full well by faith The Root satisfied. 
Eph. 3:16 I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work in us, 21 to Him be the glory in the churches in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen

ROOTED –(ROOT) Pictured here is a Banyan tree; A tree that fascinates many, because its roots grow above the ground, down from its ever expanding branches.  Fascinating getting opportunity to see what is usually hidden from view – or as in math an unknown that satisfies the equation.

…where this study began.  Where a known, that is not usually a paintable visual in itself – (love) remains an absolute and real and our foundation that is fascinatingly AWESOME when it too gets to live above ground, for all to see.
Hmmmmmmm…. Banyan Tree to illustrate Rooted, ever expanding branches that expands both down and up simultaneously to reach out where all can be seen.

Living what we are established in; love …out loud! A stretch (yes pun intended again)
Yup – surpasses knowledge …filled to the measure of ALL THE FULLNESS
Of GOD!
5. a quantity that, when substituted for the unknown quantity in an equation, satisfies the equation.
WOW!
Not unknowable, but so great that it can’t be completely known.  God who is infinite in all His attributes, allows US to draw on His resources – in this case – His love.
Am thinking that just may satisfy the equation indeed – Godspeed.
Good News remains too in that HE is in-control and to Him there IS no unknown.  He simply gives us all that we need – to see – this faith walk…
Never realized it looked so much like a banyan tree…
The usual unknown made visible ever growing – in every direction especially in:
dwell in your hearts His Spirit
 in our inner being strengthened with Gods power.
WOW
To Him be the glory forever AND EVER! Amen.

Perhaps all too intense for one in the day to day to perceive – is simplified as it is applied.
Be it applied in a painting, a journal (rambling ones at that), a blog, a classroom, a home, a office, a street, a grocery line; God knows the unknown applications to every equation in their time.  Being rooted and established in Him, by faith, each gift, and each ones gift, be it as it may – may be applied in just the right way.
Ok, TIME to WORK.
May it be an UP DAY!

CAST

CAST: throw off, shed, hurl even as it is found in good ole Websters.
As found in 1 Peter 5:7-
CAST: As in let go the net so that it may catch on to, be released to take hold of
 GODS ANSWERS FOR YOU, His provisions waiting for you.
Cast equals let go. Surrender yes.  

 But not in a feeble giving up.  In the opposite, surrender, humble, let go…. Cast is a pro-active faith.

Cast in Greek, Biblical two translations ballo, and the other is rhipto.
1 Peter 5:7 “casting all your anxiety on Him” here, this word is a command, and tells us ‘how to’ handle the command of verse 6, by telling us how to be humble. Humble is that condition that as soon as you claim it you lost it.  TRUTH is that Anxiety is a contradiction to true humility.  Unbelief is an exalting of ONES SELF AGAINST GOD. It is a depending on self and failing to trust God.  Now isn’t THAT a Humbling thought!

Jesus says it so much better and in His God standard of absolute truth and language of love in these verses in 1 Peter 5: 6,7. God is more concerned about our welfare than we could possibly be.  We are NOT to submit to the circumstances, but to the Lord who controls circumstances.
Yes, Cast means to Let go.  You cannot cast that net and hold on to the net at the same time.  If you want any hope of catching anything, (especially God’s promises for you) or succeeding, you must let go the net so that it may DO exactly what it was designed to do.  God’s word picture is always deliberate, not to mention accurate. 
If you are wondering why you have been fishing all night and brought in nothing new…. Or nothing has changed; take a picture of your current state.  Where’s your net? Is it in your hands, or did you actually cast it out?   Next time we (yes I ) may try actually letting go, may actually try CASTING, or to CAST.

1Peter 5:7 CAST ALL your anxiety on to Him because He cares for you.

Let’s not forget how to do this is found in the proceeding verse 6:  Humble yourselves, therefore, under Gods mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
Phil 4:6,7, actually Phillipians 4:6-9 is a way to put into practice that which we KNOW is True.
So therefore
                                                 CAST
With a THANKS be to GOD
         That you may in FAITH
TRUST
                           And BELIEVE
                              GOD IS ABLE


Prayer: Okay God.  Thank you TENFOLD as my favorite coffee cup clearly states:  CAST -so that ALL that YOU desire to supply may be released to DO ALL that YOU are able to do.  Surrender, Humble, Let go in a PRO ACTIVE FAITH.  With thanksgiving let my petitions be known. Then will be able to truly cast out this net to all the possibilities of You working and active in my life.  Needs met Godspeed, Work done Godspeed, Love, Live, Give, Do, Receive all at Godspeed. And that equals turned over to the God who is Able, and who is in control, who is not in a panic over any of this and who is always able to do exceedingly more than I can even imagine. Thank you also for this as it relates to yesterday sermon message too, its not that ‘what’ that defines us, it is the ‘who’ that defines us.  THAT is the who we are in Christ.  In Jesus’ name thank you may pray (cast). AMEN and Amen.  Study continually teaches to respect the Amen in Him.

HOME

Home – Coming Home.
On an excellent Realtors blog, it asks: “…what HOME means to you…?”

Heart Reply is: – An open door of unconditional loving embraces …for life that always sustains it.
One of the words that they use too: sanctuary.

Home- Coming Home …it is what we live for eternally. 
Our Fathers house, “He prepares a place for us…”  HOME:  An open door of unconditional loving embraces for life, that always sustains it. <>< Unbridled (can’t spell or sure of the word) comes to mind too.
In pondering this/these, think of opposites too, and an Antonym of home, “end friendship,” or “closed door”.  These first two words simply don’t belong together, a sad oxymoron in itself.  Must be why feels unnatural to do.
When at a Crossroads in life… may ask the above of us, and a natural reply is that it doesn’t ‘feel’ right to do.  This is depending of course upon the reasons or whys, in any and all; a case to sustain life for the ‘best’ course need always apply that serves and gives more than it takes. At least that is this hearts take.

Funny, that course seem to always bring us back HOME.  This particular home, of which I live has been raised up from the ashes I believe so that from it may give.  Cause to worry comes into play, when insurmountable repairs are needed, and emergency expenses come into play… and yes, space for borders and open door whether or not contributing to expenses.  Again, open door is never to enable irresponsibility on either part, nor is to cause worry. Self lecture here, sorry. 
Ok… so
Alas, this morning am reminded this house HAS been raised up from the ashes more than once because it is – Gods home for all OF this household far off and near; whom God knows and will call.  Therefore, OPEN is the door.  Give, as have been given too and exceedingly more.

Do NOT worry. “work hard with your own hands.  Mind your own business” “and as far as it depends on you, be at peace with all” –paraphrase from memory Cor.????
In searching came to 2Cor 9:6  Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need you will abound in every good work.  As it is written: “He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor, his righteousness endures forever.” Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.  You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.  This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of Gods people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. (Through to 14) …15 Thanks be to God for HIS indescribable gift.

And yesterdays bookmark, “The Widows Offering” for further perspective: Luke 21:1-4.  As He looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.  He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.  “I tell you the truth”  He said,  “this poor widow has put in more than all the others..  All of these people gave their gifts out of their wealth, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on” <><<><<>< Next on to 2 Cor. 8: 10-12.  12 For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have. <><<><<><  So, by ones means.  Why mercy and compassion and love NEEDS to lead.  There the heart is measured.  “Where your treasure is, is where your heart is also” 

 Sincere giving heart motivated solely by love and caring as gift given is enormous treasure with no needed monetary measure.

HOME defined… indeed… and yes also faith in God’s Divinity… life’s full circle lived out loud where we, from the beginning are a part of His plan.  “Be not afraid.” for all given of pure heart, full circles itself in all that we have and knowing the blessing of all that is needed is always supplied.

Prayer: You know the needs even here my Lord.  By faith may trust all shall enter that are in need to and as need – God sent, Godspeed.  Thank you God for the ability to tithe and for the ability to shelter.  It is by Your Gift, Your Love, Your Grace that any and all things are here.  Give as have been given… indeed.  May carry on and NOT WORRY.  You supply the work and the seed and the ability to heed.  Surrender, Trust and Obey. Thank you God for reminding me.   Respect the Amen In Him.

Before The Dawn" actually had me take note of Art imitating Life.  My latest entry at my Art Blog, is so much a part of this entry am noting it here for you to reference the examples in the step by steps of drawing to today's study.
