So Simple?

Veterans Day in the USA- God Bless our Veteran's and their service, for they enable the land of the free to be ... THANK YOU for your service Veteran's 

Starting here in a place NEVER have before. What is the world coming to, starting with a text message conversation, in part.  M ='s me, T ='s them:
T: Is the answer just go to church and pray?
T: Is it the simple words 'help me Jesus' enough?
M:The glory of God is He meets us were we are..."Pray constantly" Scriptural
<>< We are taught we know not what to pray even and the Holy Spirit intercedes for us
<>< That is the peace
<>< That is how we press on
<>< step by step by baby step
<>< God meets us were we are... Especially the 'help me Jesus' plea... my humble opinion
<>< and was sincerely where my conversion experience came from
<>< God hears our hearts
<>< knows our hearts
<>< He seeks a sincere heart that loves God with all of it.

Isn't it convenient how the light shown on my cup this morn

<>< I knew nothing when I prayed: 'there must be more to life than this...' One day back in '95 when life felt overwhelmed and all I did was chase circles with little ones and time.
<>< His reply? My Damascus Road experience.  He speaks to us each different, yet same... with PEACE, Gods PEACE is like none other

<>< He answers you with ALL of those when you pray;'Help me Jesus'

Then, went to own quiet time as they went on to meet the day and prepare for church, with a 
T:... Love You...
Next i re-read yesterdays Scriptural ref. in 2 Peter 3:8,9,17,18  Then I turned to 2 Peter 1:1-11, all of Chapter 1 of 2Peter for that matter, next emphasis on 1:19-21

With this said, HUMBLY with NO authority I share here, simply Jesus influences on this life, mine.  It is the ONLY one that I can speak of - it is one of faith - and knowing with out a doubt -'God keeps His Promises'

THAT is our greatest witness, and is our greatest testimony, it need not be any fine sounding arguments, its simply: The TRUTH of Jesus in your life, and what surrendering to Him has looked like, felt like.

Over the years I have come to realize that the "Peace beyond understanding " the "Peace " of God is the Holy Spirit interceding.
When God tells us we may "consider it all joy" He isn't saying we are going to be happy all the time - He is saying that in Him, with Him, Jesus, ALL the fullness of the Deity found in the Face of Christ, brings His "PEACE" to life in our spirit with His Spirit.
Even when struggling greatly this is true.  "Happy" NOT!  BUT on the flip side of that coin, happy or sad Gods assurances sincerely enable me to "press on" in His Eternal Joy.  By faith may know God is NOT in a panic over any of it!  
2Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
2-8, 19 And we have the Word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to the light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that NO prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophets own interpretation.  21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

That 'carried along' IS our PEACE beyond understanding.
Humbly I pray, press on and share all that can, from there.
NO Scholar, NO Prophet just KNOW ALL is God, and all is GOOD in His hands.  
God Keeps His Promises! 
2 Peter 1:3,4, 
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Answer? Jesus, YES.  By His way in us: (2Peter 1:5) Faith, Goodness, Knowledge, Self-control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherly Kindness, LOVE.
1:8 For if you keep these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And everytime I write that ; "Knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ", I remember "Knowledge puffs up, love builds up: another Scriptural response to all that we say and do and are...
