Kindness & Sterness...

 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God:... (Romans 11:22 plus context)

ANY adequate doctrine of God MUST include these two elements.  When we ignore His kindness, God seems a ruthless tyrant; when we ignore His sterness, He seems a doting Father.
...GOD IS ABLE! Is the bottom, top, line!

As Ponder role of parenting young adult children - AND looking in the mirror at self too ---- THIS particulary relevant this morn.
Tough love without success self earned as a goal -  is merely ruthless.  Expressing unconditional love and support without boundries is just as ruthless.

God is ABLE.  Simply cast care to Him seeking His wisdom and discernment... AND STRENGTH.  No one wants to see a loved one suffer.  Nor does one ever want to see a loved one not succeed.

"Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God"  Not only as Jew or Gentile being grafted back in; as prodigal son, daughter, friend, self...
'provided that you continue in His Kindness...' '...AND if they do not persist in unbelief.

No free ride is given with Gods FREE GIFT.  Yes, by grace is how we ALL arrive with it and here the same way.

God loves you TOO much to leave you the way you are.

Therefore remember the kindness and sterness of God.  Seek His wisdom and discernment on how to proceed, press on.  His love and grace forever remains.  No promise He made is ever broken, nor will it be.  Abiding in Him, HE abides in you. THAT is where ALL freedom lives life outloud, and Godbreathed.
