Bible Bookmarked at 2 Peter 1:1- 2:4
Seems this Journaling today, also reflects a wonderful new chapter taking shape. In the midst that not more could be broken… and needing repaired, change of work, plans all- seeking turned around for the better. In the midst of these wisdom and discernment as to how to press on from here sought. Praises too for the JOY FILLED distractions that has entered in. Reel in your proper perspective as to what to do and how to do- In Jesus’ Holy Precious name
<>< Scripture focus at 1:5-1:11 5 For this reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you form being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from past sins. 10Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things you will never fall, 11 AND you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2:20&21 too

Father God, these Scriptures summarize the goal indeed! THANK YOU. To be effective and productive in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Also the reminder in 2:20-21 “no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophets own interpretation…”
Simply and wholly noted: God is the origin of all Godly Prophesy. As is Scripture “God breathed” our context need follow in-step with the teachings through the Holy Spirit as our Counselor, Intercessor through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Going back now to the virtues found in 1:5-9 – these are they that will produce a well rounded, fruitful Christian life. Faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, brotherly kindness, love. Not necessarily learned only in this specific order, one after another. Instead cultivated simultaneously in ‘increasing measure’. Christian knowledge SHOULD effect the way we live. Not ever set from moral restraints – or learning. We have not arrive yet though either – this side of heaven nor will we – we do know the difference though. May we not close our eyes (1:9) to all that we know- may we reflect it instead… in EVER INCREASING measure. May we reflect His Love, Grace and Truth. Ever striving, every seeking to be more and more ALL that He designed us to be. We each in our own Gift – never to prophecy as if from ourselves – but to always do so as an answer to prayer and listening – to God’s God breathed reply – and sound counsel of His sound doctrines (2Tim 3:16-17) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20timothy%203:16-17&version=NIV
Remembering too His Plan is for our best, to prosper us- may we not be ineffective with His abundant Gifts, and blessings. In Jesus’ Name.
