A Beautiful Thing

“A Beautiful Thing”…
Matt 26:6-13 “beautiful” The Greek word has an aesthetic as well as ethical meaning.  Mary’s act of devotion was costly and unusual… servant hearted and exposing actions… done merely to care for Jesus… shown especially in the emphasis here of pouring on Jesus’ feet, not his head.

All four gospels have an account of a women anointing Jesus.  John’s 12:1-11, seems the same as in Mt26:6-13, Mk 14:3-9 while in Lk 7:36-50 is different.

The WORD that stands out here this morn to this heart – “beautiful”, again, as meant in The Greek of both aesthetic AND ethical… By Mary this being done too-  In her whole heart – ALL giving spirit to Jesus she did what she could and she knew in spirit to so.  No other explanation called for, in spite of the culture, time, and indignation even of the others by it.  Not weighing cost or porper order, procedures… DOOING ALL THAT SHE COULD FOR JESUS WITH A POURED OUT SERVANTS HEART GIVING UNIQUE AND EXTRAVEGANTLY TO HER LORD, FOR HIM.  REPEAT- FOR HIM.   Yes, Jesus anointed indeed.  Mk 14:8

His anointing here was when it could be- History now reveals.  It seems Jesus alone knowing He was to die a criminal death, where there would not be the usual opportunity to anoint His body for burial, which was customary for the time.

EVERYTHING has a reason and a purposeful perspective in the light f God’s light shining in our hearts to give to us the glory of the knowledge of God found in the face of Christ.(2Cor4:6)

She did what she could” “a beautiful thing” – FOR JESUS
And in the amazing Truth of God, in the giving and doing in this way, is the greatest GIFT in life.  Our purpose is gound in Him, through Him, because of Him.

A prayer perhaps that we all may pray; Father “may ‘i’ do “a beautiful thing” for You- In Jesus’ Holy Precious name Spirit led and fed- Amen <><<><<><
Extravagant and unusual it may be… I see my Lord your weaving completely.  May all given be poured out accordingly – equip, enable, YES, seclude and protect so may be – In Jesus’ name seen ‘A beautiful thing for” JESUS’ Name Amen.

our ALL

Breath Of Life- K Hitt - Copyrighted ALL rights

dedication

Momma's Heartbeat
Daddy's Breath
Hannah (1Sam 1:2-28) – she gave that which was most precious to her, she turned her son over, gave him back to God… he, what she had most prayed for;  as we were reminded in our Mother’s Day Sermon Sunday.  Also that Abraham did so with Isaac too(Gen22). With an emphases on the motive of heart spoken of in these examples of faith.  That these were done in FAITH not as a whim, ploy, barter – but in hearing
Gods call and answering it with their ALL.
Understanding fully what ALL means- and what ALL God stands for too.
GOD is ALL Good, Light, Love, Life …just to name a few.
He is faithful, just, righteous, merciful to name but a few more character traits.
 ALL knowing, wise, discerning…
ABLE-
 God IS Able;
He IS
The
I AM.
These, those that heard His call on their heart, and answered it with their ALL…
They answered with a
“Here ‘i’ am my Lord” in reply.
Hear the difference here… it was NOT them telling God how they would reply to Him, and their desires beings served by their self serving directions that they give too God.  Why who would do such a thing? Have you ever heard yourself pray that way to God? I think that we all have to some degree… when we are most vulnerable, overwhelmed in NEED pleas… “God if YOU do this for me, I’ll do this for You”, gist of a prayer.  Ever find yourself there?
Alas, … that’s not the point here though. Its beyond that.

The matter at hand here is the ALL in us, given over to the ALL of God.

We readily give Him all our mess ups, needs, cares…
And as well, we may-
For we have been taught “Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you” This REMAINS a steadfast TRUTH.
Feel here, that we are being reminded of what Hannah and Abraham both
Willingly
gave over to God-
BY     FAITH
In their constant RELATIONSHIP with God, their “here ‘I’ am Lord,” replied with their ALL – literally.
For all that we have, we have by God and belongs to God…
Therefore,
Giving themselves AND that which was most precious to them too – and feeling NOT a loss in the doing so, or in the action (not that I can presume to know what anyone thought, felt).
It wasn’t about feelings really – it was about BEING.
BEING IN The Presence of THE I AM
Constantly in spirit, mind, heart and soul and ALL their strength too-wholeheartedly LOVING God.
That LOVE relationship in Faith comprehended the depth and TRUTH of what ALL means.  Sacrificial giving was living, breathing, being in the ALL things.

Yes, knowing to a greater degree perhaps the TRUTH in Jesus’ words to us in the gospels “What is impossible for man, is NOT for God.  All things are possible for God”
Hannah gave BACK to God that which was most precious to her. (from Sunday sermon)
Coupling this with the days before study that referenced “The Widow’s Offering”… and how 2 Cor 8:12 speaks to the context of that giving – or our giving.
Understanding what Hannah gave, and Abraham too, gives greater understanding to living out loud whole heartedly in FAITH to the ALL of  God and being in His presence with your  ALL.

That which is most precious lives out loud full circle here, in this, these relationships with God.

Yes, of course we have petitions to God in this life – minute by minute perhaps it seems.  Beyond the petitions is the core motive of heart before any call.  The full circle call of hearing The I Am , with your whole being reply of “here ‘i’ am Lord”
There lives the ALL things are possible – living out loud WITH God.
In Jesus’ Holy Precious Name
Amen

Prayer led to from here:
Father God, this study sheds a new light onto my life of prayer and endless streams of petitions in it there.  Forgive me God.  Thank YOU God for the awakening… in AWE my Lord of how You continually reveal more and more of just what ALL means…
And, Your FULL Circle giving of it plan for all humanity.  ALL things defined.  As the widow put in ALL that she had to live on in reply to Your call on her heart, so did Hannah, Abraham, David, Paul,  …on and on The Bible testifies to those that loved You so.  Motive of heart remains Your measuring rod; According to our faith too.  Amazing Awesome God!
A New Leaf
Each of us are given a minimum of one spiritual gift to walk in faith with.  A walk of faith that with our entire being answers Your call with our humble, “Here ’i’ am” to Your Sovereign ALL.  Pretty amazing revelation…. Reminded of here.  Thank YOU for it God.  Amen… and Amen… In Jesus’ name.

May Day

First Taste Of Spring -
May 1st, 2012 - May Day - history shares children danced around the pole --- holding a ribbon stream I believe it said.  How these words do not display that view or sentiment.

God, THANK YOU may see faith the same way too.  A hope in what we do not see
a willingness to leap even for it.
By faith - simply believe.
That belief is beyond 'know' in a word can describe.
That belief is more than a heart even knows- it simply its core,
its motive, its beat.
God- when one is called- to love You God, with all -
all our heart, soul, mind, spirit and strength.
ALL- the word given to describe.
ALL - with all that we are- AND
ALL we hope to be
for our HOPE is in the Keeper of the beginning and The End,
The Holder of Eternity, Destiny-
Omnipotent, Omnipresent
Majestic Sovereignty -
This is where are faith is called from and to
this is where are faith leaps to
this is our all...
This is our Keeper of ALL things
working together for GOD's GOOD purposes
no grouping of word
fully describes this
dance around the May Day pole.
Our Father, who are't in heaven, Halloith be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespassed against us.  Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.  For Thine is the power and the Kingdom and the glory for ever and ever - Amen

This the Lord's Prayer That HE Himself gave to us to pray.
Chapter 17 in the Book of John, The Bible's Red letter
God breathed prayers of God
To God
Gods conversation with God
recorded for all eternity to see
eyes of faith
in our God WITH us Given
to us
for us
in spite of us
FAITH
What does the leap look like?
Where is it appropriate to take
or make
or trust?
It is in the
ALL things
for ALL eternity
Therefore every breath
every heart beat
every thought
in Him
for Him of Him
To Him
Cast- Leap
Belief
Faith
I do not have the words to describe a dance
around a May Day Pole never seen.
Nor do I have the words to describe
The Faith by which I believe and have a hope and with every breath - every heart beat am called
to leap to,
for, by...

Sometimes I laugh
Sometimes I cry
Sometimes I sincerely wonder
why?
Why must it be by faith to see
the mystery of God
for ALL eternity...
and yes, oh why - do I continually try to pen,
or brush what these eyes of faith see.
No word
No picture
Captures
The Vision
of FAITH

Believe
Continually the Plea
Pick up the God Breathed
and you TOO WILL SEE
The GREATEST Lover of
your soul
leading you on by Faith
for ALL eternity
Believe
God sent
Godspeed
Indeed.
Amen- It is done
In Jesus' name The AMEN is spoken
for us ALL
Victory is in Amen - It is done
Not the End
Eternity Sealed
Delivered
Revealed

Air Out Of Tires???

"Monday Morning Office Rush" - Plein Air
Ephesians Chapter 4 Your God sent, Godspeed reply.<><<><<><
4:15 Instead, speaking the Truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is The Head, that is Christ.  16 From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does it work.
<><<><<>< Context is 1-16

For the first time EVER intentionally let the air out of a car tire.  It was the tire of a loved one.  Then as ran, and continually run to prayer at reaching this extreme, God’s convicting word in Ephesians 4 convicted my spirit with why we love and discipline and ARE also loved and disciplined by God ourselves. In other words when ran to God – His LIVING God breathed Word was not only His reply – it came to life in my spirit from His Spirit.  IT lived in me – His Peace beyond understanding!  THANK YOU GOD!

Yesterday’s prayer in part:  Reality is the TRUTH of God, not in despairs deceit.  By faith know this, in lack of faith it hides.  By a flicker of faith may run to TRUTH… instead.

Just so happens Nahum – at Nineveh’s destruction, and Job – belly of a big fish is where had just studied the word in the last few proceeding days.  Coincidentally in disciplines …now imagine that. Think a coincidence? Did I mention he lead ME to these.  For ME to hear for my disciplining… don’t you think?  The word is living for us EACH and relevant to every breath we take in our today’s.  Life’s passion is to illustrate this.  Hmmmmmm.  Ok. Pressing on.

The scriptures studied… whew. Discipline replies: One discipline is utter obliteration, HOPE lost for redemption or reconciliation.  Other, utterly swallowed up whole for God’s discipline to take hold, when it did from the belly of that big fish, the reconciled was spit out onto dry land.
Discipline extremes…. YES.

Had studied those Old Testament passages before the tire flattening and ultimatum delivered with it.  In other words, KNEW – the Word was meant for me to see and to comprehend its lessons in my own heart.  God’s discipline will be.  God ALWAYS gives us a way out if we seek His face, His Way.  His grace may only be delivered though if we seek Him and His forgiveness.   Oh yeah, circumstances of sin may still have us swallowed up whole- with seemingly NO way out; By faith we can see disciplines love.  Let me repeat that …by faith we can see disciplines love.  Without love, discipline is more like sin.  Without Gods love as the motive that is.  God IS love.

OK, so before me are two disciplines extremes – annihilation or a belly of a big fish.  The extremely intelligent person that I am :0) I realized and sought
‘NONE please be needed God.  HELP me see Your way before these extremes are needed.’

Another ‘hah’  For it just so happens that before these two scriptures were studied, was studying in Matthew at an ole familiar favorite passages where The Trinity may be seen.  MANY a year ago, and even in two Bibles have these passages marked and written in the margins ‘illustrate this’…

Are you seein’ the connections?
Exactly.  Sheesh.
Did I mention that God is good all the time, and all the time God is good’?
Did I mention these entries are called “In His Light… BEFORE The Dawn”?
Pretty amazing, Living Words of God are unfolding before me here…. Ya think?  Am ‘i’ the only one excited here by what am seeing?  Jiminy, Ok … so….
As pray: (shall spare you the details of circumstances, inserts yours here :0) ultimately Gods Word caused me to ponder what His reply to ‘me’ may be.  Would it have to be so bad, that only annihilation is left to deliver – OR – HOPE of being spit out o to dry land?
Because you see, then had to ask, - “does the air have to be let out of ALL FOUR of my tires?”  it just so happens that in it GOD is trying to whisper ‘the Truth will set you fee” …and ‘love’ to me.

Is HE showing me an ultimatum?  Prayer: ‘ HELP God, help for Your visions and intercession to wisely be seen instead of continuing in my futility’

DISCIPLINE
NO ONE likes it at its time of delivery.  Humbled to pray – let it NOT be too late as in Ninevah, instead may it be as in Job, time to listen, to know what is right, seek forgiveness for wrongs, and get spit out on to dry land!’

So….lets see, I let the air out of a tire because I loved them, and didn’t want to see them cause greater harm to themselves with poor, in the moment choices.  Weigh this against God’s intercessions in circumstances.  Personally/ insecurity kept intentions undone, and blanketed in the circumstances of the effects of messed up ways effecting the today’s .  Procrastination, distractions, are really fear and insecurity taking their breath in me.  Even More frustration in being able to see it… but can’t stop it!  Does a loved one need to let the air out of my tires????? And Give an ultimatum?
Sitting in the belly ?  What God?
‘What is impossible for man, is NOT for God.  ALL THINGS are possible for God”  Even these?  Proceed.

Don’t like discipline at the time of its delivery…

The fruits though, when heeded are DIVINE.

Yup, for self, lots of circumstances to overcome, some self inflicted some not, AND perhaps quite humbly so, perhaps a TRINITY illustrated.  God only knows if that is possible to do.  He simply tells me to NOT be afraid, AND do.
Do ALL He inspires me to do, don’t merely ponder then reply in fear.

If faith can lead us to pray, it also will lead us to God’s Way through.

Even if the air has been let out of EVERY tire… it was done so in LOVE …so that the only way to proceed is GODspeed.

“Be still, and know that He IS God”
Forever and ever AMEN.

Instead, speaking the TRUTH in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is Christ.   From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in LOVE as each part does its work.  (Read 1-16 for context, then on through all of Chapter 4 of Ephesians too)

It just so happens the LIVING word of God brought messages on both Discipline AND Unity simultaneously.  Awesome LOVE of GOD... says  Press ON

...Miraculous Catch

Higel Park Re-Visited, Acrylic. K. Hitt Copyrighted

John 20:20 through Chapter 21
John 21 “…Miraculous Catch”
The fishermen fished all night, professionals at that… Disciples too.  They worked very hard, it got them nothing but empty nets. Dawn called them back to the shore empty handed. Ever feel this way yourself? Well, Unbeknownst to them on the shore was the One they loved much but they thought had left them alone to fend for themselves.  Remaining silent as to whom He was in that moment, perhaps so they could remember in whom they believed and by whom ALL abundance remains. “Drop your net on the right side of the boat” Jesus said. (Paraphrased!)”…and you will find some” (fish that is)

Now remember, these are fishermen that just fished all night and these very same nets had nothing to show for their labors.  “What could possibly be different?” they perhaps thought… “We just finished doing this ALL night and caught nothing.” Too tired to protest? Here we are simply told that they listened to the Counsel from the shore, surely tired and discouraged from the nights work, perhaps even mumbling under their breath a “ya right, okay, okay” simply to satisfy the request and to do this one last cast.

BUT When they did, when they did as Counseled to do- (trusting and obeying?) more fish than their nets or they could handle was the ‘in faith’ reply…
…To their silent ‘why no catch’ cry.

With Jesus – the answer was cleared up for them. With Jesus as our guide in the ALL that we know how to do on our own, yet it does not ‘do’ the “ALL” it was designed to do:

In Him- WITH Him- is where the “ALL things are possible for God” comes to be.

'We' can go through the motions… even do the same thing the same way that we have done it a thousand times before, exactly as we were taught to do too…
but…
The miraculous difference can only come one way;
WITH JESUS IN our Way, Guiding our way, allowing HIM to be OUR WAY!

‘Thank you Jesus, for Your reply this morn.  Tears of JOY fall …as You remind me,
You Have Risen Indeed!
You are here!  Jesus, You see even my needs.  Thank You.  Show me where, when, how to cast my net for Your fill to answer my empty.  In Jesus’ name The Amen
IS the Amen- <>< It IS done.’

Meet Bonnie Blu

Bonnie Blu- new studio watch dog :0)

Meet Bonnie Blu.  The newest addition to the family; she is now a 10 week old Catahoula rescue pup adopted at 8 weeks.  Not only does she eat anything and everything in sight… she eats up quite a bit of my time too.  Wonderfully so, as any newborn does. Lost my last dog a few years back, Blu; a Blue Tick hound adopted from the pound when he was approximately two.  SWEETEST dog ever owned, and oh how he knew he was a rescue too.  He passed at approximately 12. Daughter’s dog really… well I got him by request for the children back in 1998 as an alternative security for them to a life change.  Alas, all are moms pet too, because we all know how that goes with our ‘children’s dogs’.  Gloriously kids will be kids too.  Daughter felt hardest the tragedy of Blu’s passing; one of the hardest lessons in life is losing a beloved. She went it on her own, half way across the U.S. at her first post college home and job with her beloved childhood dog moving out with her too.  What had hoped would be a good, turned to the hardest of hard.

That lesson in life certainly repeats itself again and again more often than we think we can stand.

Didn’t think that I would ever have another dog, knowing all that it entailed and the season of life that am presently in. Alas, welcome Bonnie Blu, she too just now defines that which hoped would be a good as also a very hard.  Presently in the GOOD of that though. The season adapts to her as she has been adopted.  More of those deep life lessons in the simplistic of the scenario.
PAUSE realizing that perhaps “I thinkith’ toooooooo much”  Tis true, but it is what it is, so onward and upward we go.

This leads into this morning’s ‘In His Light… Before The Dawn’ completely too.  Always amazes me when get flashes of the ‘living’ side of quiet time spent and the Word of God.  Am surprised at just how personally am sometimes compelled to share.  In my reserved secluded ways, combined with being an open book; the oxymoron perhaps of who I am.

Key of all this… is discovering more and more each day, who ‘i’ am in Christ.  God reaches each and every one of us where we are and in the way that He knows works best for us.  The key for us all is the same, discovering more and more each day who we are In CHRIST.

Bible was bookmarked at John 17; Red letters to God of God.  Simply these passages can certainly be defined as some of the most poignant passages ever penned in the Bible. Jesus prays for Himself, the Disciples, and for ALL Believers in Chapter 17 of John.  An amazing conversing with God from God.

YES, EVEN GOD PRAYS

This 115th journal, books of prayers and study, “In His Light… Before The Dawn” have named them.  His Light – Before The Dawn; dawn in the literal, where these began, for the only ‘quiet’ time could find was before the dawn and all others rose-up to greet the day.  Dawn’s meaning, also in its representational qualities. Assuredly,  I THINK TOO MUCH! ???? Ponder too much??? Leaving Closeness with other persons perhaps hindered in the intensity and TOO MUCH side of my continual thinking and ponderings???? Certainly no coincidences in why am now at number 115?
Details of life and its broken trusts, along with a felt of having a lack of regard of relevance to those close; by not being taken seriously or of holding a valuable worth, has its effects for sure.  Living in lack of respect and relevance?  Pretty sad place when read this back.  Reality is, it comes through extremely in written word, and it’s all a matter of degree in the reality of today and life.  Real, yet in the real life… KNOW that it is not a good, as just, or as it just read.  Also in it have come to realize that/this/these are perhaps why God gave “In His Light… Before The Dawn” to me.  Jesus teaches us to pray, AND shares His prayers with us too.

Jesus shows us who is our ultimate refuge, Counselor, Father, greatest lover of our soul.

We are in this world, but not of it.  “In this world you will have troubles, be not afraid, I have overcome the world: - Jesus (as remember paraphrased).
“HELP” the short, “Help, please God, what- You God know better than ‘i’ do”.

John 17 shares the intimacy of relationship, depth of caring and love and purposes in God.  “ALL things” of the God for whom “ALL things are possible”  Heart of God.  Amazingly we are enabled to “Heart to heart” with God.

This perhaps is our purpose?  The Ultimate relationship to define any and all relationships, in any and all context?-  Leaving insecurities no more in Him too.   We simply need to live “As unto The Lord” in all things that we do.

In Relationships, Jesus here shows how ALL are on His heart, and how ALL things are on His heart.  He doesn’t just ponder them; He lifts them up in prayer to Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Sovereign GOD-   The Creator and keeper of ALL things.

God knows our heart, before we choose to share it with Him.  Until we share it with Him our heart does not live for what it was created for-  A relationship WITH God.  To live heart to heart WITH GOD is our call.

An important detail to this is we are to grow in HIM, and in meeting Him where He is.  “Abide in Me” – The Teacher teaches us to abide in His teachings; Word-“Then we will know the Truth and the Truth will set us free.”

What does that mean? We cannot know the will of God unless we spend time in The Word of God.  Yes, this is true.  THERE IS MORE TO IT THANT THAT though.  For satan even knows The Word of God, he knows it very well – and just how to twist it into his deceitful temptations too.

The MORE is what we see here in Chapter 17 of John, in ALL these “Red Letter” prayers.  To sit down, stops all else, remove distractions, demands, cares---- and have a heart to heart with GOD.  THAT, this IS what your heart was created for AND this is how Gods Will transforms you.  This is the transformation of The Word of God – TO – THE LIVING WORD OF GOD – His Word transforming your heart with His heartfelt reply to your call to His “ALL things are possible” – in a faiths cry or praise, no matter – accept in the remembering to whom you call.   God Almighty worthy of praise – forever and ever AMEN and AMEN!

Jesus’ prayer is shared here to teach us all.  Perhaps therefore mine are meant to share too.  I, NO JESUS obviously- yet am one of the “all believers” for whom He prayed.  Jesus has already gone to The Father for me.  He knows me, and YOU- He knows us ALL.

Guess it in not only ok to share conversations with God of prayers – it is right to do?????  In the context of sharing Gods heart to our/my heart as His LIVING word of God.

The amazing thing is this – WE EACH AND EVERYONE OF US THAT PUT OUR FAITH IN GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST – HAVE HIS LIVING WORD OF GOD FROM HIS HEART TO OUR HEART.  THAT is the WORD made FLESH and Why Jesus came… and YES
EVEN JESUS PRAYED!  Amen.

Always Respecting the AMEN in Him. Gods Will be done, our heart in His heart brings our heart to His Will prayers.  “Then you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free” – Jesus.
Amen and Amen and Amen forever and ever Amen!
